Blue Sparrow is a uniqe bar naturally coloured with indigo powder and scented with our own essential oil blend or aniseed, lemongrass, spearmint and clove - uplifing, spicy and zesty all rolled into one.
Note: Due to the colouring in this soap, it may cause some staing to white/light coloured towels and face washers. Use with caution
Cold processed soaps are handmade by us in small batches which means that there may be variations in colours and patterns. They are left to cure for a minimum of 6 weeks prior to availability for purchase.
Why call it Blue Sparrow?
The Indigo Bunting is a commonly found small sparrow-sized bird. The bird can be found in bushy areas, new regrowth forests, older abandoned farm fields and forest edges. Hence where this Indigo coloured bar acquired it's name, and a scent reminisent of the birds habitate.

BLUE SPARROW is made with olive oil, coconut oil, aqua, rice bran oil, sodium hydroxide, cocoa butter, hydrogenated soybean, Cymbopogon Flexuosus oil, Illicium verum oil, kaolin, Mentha Viridis leaf oil, Eugenia Caryophyllus leaf oil, Indigofera tinctoria leaf powder, titanium dioxide, mica.
(Note: due to the saponification process which takes place between the oils and sodium hydroxide, there is no sodium hydroxide left in the final product)
