Ugly sweater from Rustic Urban Co pays homage to the lost, forgotten and unappriciated ugly knitted sweater hiding in the back of the cupboard somewhere. It is naturally coloured with alkanet root and clay, finely ground earl grey tea is sprinkled throughout, and finally scented with our unique essential oil blend of bergamot, patchouli and ylang ylang.
Note: Due to the colouring in this soap, it may cause some staing to white/light coloured towels and face washers. Use with caution
Cold processed soaps are handmade by us in small batches which means that there may be variations in colours and patterns. They are left to cure for a minimum of 6 weeks prior to availability for purchase.
Why call it Ugly Sweater?
The inspiration for this soap came from an image of someone sitting in a cold London appartment drinking a cup of earl grey tea and wearing an ugly brown sweater. It got me thinking, ugly can still be beutiful, it's all personal prference, so ugly sweater soap was born. It is scented with bergamot essential oil, the oil used in earl grey tea, which is also included in this wonderful bar, and designed to look ugly yet interesting.
